It’s the end of era. Bryan Buffa is coming home for good from the Great White North with a diploma from Michigan Technological University this weekend. He’s graduating as a chemical engineering major, economics minor. In other words, he’s one smart guy!

Send your congratulations his way when you get a chance because he’s certainly earned it after five years of constant sub-zero temperatures, hundreds of feet of snows and hundred of miles between him and his people.

Bryan loves education. And America.

In case anyone wants to make the drive (and I mean that facetiously), here’s directions from Saginaw to Houghton. It also puts into perspective how far away Buff has been and why we only see him once every couple of months.

In other exciting news, Bryan and I both have job interviews next week and we’re two of the most excited people in the country. Wish us luck!
