I sat in my bedroom at my parents’ house Sunday night surrounded by boxes and bags and laundry baskets full of stuff and told Bryan how absolutely overwhelmed I was by everyone’s generosity at the shower Sunday afternoon.

“It’s unbelievable,” I said.

“I know,” he said. “I want to tell everyone ‘thank you’ personally. I want to shake all their hands.”

I think that pretty much sums it up. We’re so thankful for everyone who came to the shower and brought fantastic recipes. And I’m very grateful to my family members who planned the whole thing – my mom Dawn, Bryan’s mom Beth, my sister Breck, my Aunt Lela and my Grandma Sylvia. I know I missed out on visiting with a lot of people and I’m sorry about that, believe me, but I’m so glad you all came!

And even though Bryan couldn’t be there (blame it on the rigors of the chemistry lab and the last-minute push to finish his work and graduate!), he’s very appreciative of it all.

So in short, thanks for all the love, y’all. You’re all phenomenal.

If anyone has any pictures they want to share, send them to me at whitney.gronski@gmail.com and I’ll post them here.

Also important: We are, on this day, exactly two months away from wedded bliss. The invitations are in the mail and you should be getting one sometime this week or next. Fill out that RSVP and send it back!

If you need help opening your invitation, ask for his help.
